Stealing Josh’s idea, here is a quick introduction on myself:
My name is Anthony Fontana, and I am a recent Purdue graduate. While I will not call myself a founding member (as I did none of the work), I am proud to say I am an original member of Purdue Barbell, back when it was first founded. Brandon quickly saw the team’s potential, and it being his alma mater, decided to help us out.
The club has grown immensely since its induction, and while I am no longer at Purdue, I hope to still compete with the team. I have been coached by Brandon for two years (minus a semester due to a head injury), and hope to use this log to showcase my progress, and Brandon’s effort and value as a coach.
I am in the dead center of a training block right now, and rather than writing up past entries, I am going to do a summarization of the previous weeks to catch the log up to where I’m currently at. I plan to then do daily or weekly updates with more details. Expect that shortly, and I am excited to be a part of this overall project.
